Web Content Caching

Content caching greatly reduces the number of requests that must be forwarded on to web or application servers, reducing back-end application load, data transit times and bandwidth usage. ZXTM is able to store local copies of frequently-viewed web pages, images and other content, ensuring you get more value out of your existing web or application server cluster.

Can ZXTM cache variants of the same page?

When content is requested from a web or application server, the response may vary depending on a number of factors such as:

ZXTM is able to detect these variations in client requirements or content generated by the web or application server, and will automatically cache and return the most appropriate version of content to the client.

Can I use ZXTM for content caching from servers outside my network?

If your organization finds that some specific web sites situated outside your immediate network are visited frequently by employees, ZXTM can be used to cache content requested from them locally. These could be corporate web or application servers located in a different country, popular news sites or other sources of content.

Using ZXTM to keep a local cache of this content will mean that it only needs to downloaded once for all employees, rather each employee downloading their own copy. This will reduce bandwidth usage and costs, and will speed up subsequent requests for it.
