There are a number of training courses scheduled for 2005. More information on scheduled dates for training is available.
This course is designed for system and network engineers, technical support engineers and technical consultants. It is also suitable for pre-sales consultants who require more in-depth product knowledge.
The ZXTM combined course is made up of the ZXTM standard and advanced administration courses run together sequentially.
Trainees attending the Standard Course should have a working knowledge of Internet services and networking. An understanding of Unix/Linux is expected, e.g. TCP/IP and use of the shell. There is no requirement for scripting but trainees will benefit from being familiar with general system administration. For guidance, any trainee having completed a Zeus Web Server or Zeus Load Balancer course will find the ZXTM Standard course aimed at a similar level.
The advanced course includes programming ZXTM using TrafficScript, which is an intuitive and powerful language for manipulating traffic and load balancing behavior. A working knowledge of HTTP/1.1 and familiarity with a scripting language such as Bash, Perl or Python is extremely helpful. For guidance, the advanced course is aimed at a slightly higher level than the Zeus Web Server and Zeus Load Balancer courses.
Different ZXTM courses are offered to suit distinct audiences.
